Photo Hunt Reflection

Reflection. That’s this week’s Photo Hunt theme. I have chosen two pictures taken by my husband, Mr. Dragyn, this past summer, as he was driving up to meet us in Lutsen, MN. He stopped in Duluth, and took these beautiful pictures of the moon shining on Lake Superior, with the city lights twinkling merrily. He says that these pictures don’t show reflections. I say they do and that they’re lovely. What do you think?

Of course they show reflections. The water is reflecting the moon.

Beautiful reflections of moonlight! He takes a good picture, but he doesn’t know a reflection when he sees it!

OK, now. What I said was that I didn’t think they turned out very well. When I was driving, it seemed as if the moon covered half of the sky. In the pictures, even at full zoom, it’s just this dime sized little dot. That’s the part I wasn’t happy with. The reflections are the only part I actually do like.
